DualDisc Replication
What is a DualDisc, (Hybrid Disc)? It's a new two-sided disc
product introduced primarily by the video and music industry
with DVD recorded material on one side and digital audio material
on the other. In the business-to-business sector each side
of the disc works exactly as a separate DVD-ROM or CD-ROM
would, allowing you to access all target audiences with just
one disc. We currently offer the following DualDisc formats
: DVD / CD, HD-DVD / DVD-5, and HD-DVD / CD. |

HD-DVD Replication
CDDC offers a wide range of HD-DVD replication services for
HD-DVD: Glass mastering of HD-DVD-ROM, HD-DVD-Video authoring and premastering,
including excellent video & audio encoding, graphics creation,
program editing, subtitles, menus, navigation, title proofing
and final transfer to DVD-R "authoring" or Portable
USB Hard Drive. and optional copy protection where appropriate.

(15 GB single layer). HD-DVD-30 (30 GB dual layer), 80mm (Mini)
Disc DVD's & HD-DVD's, (Flex HD-DVDŽ) Flexible HD Disc 15

Flex VCD-HDŽ & Flex
HD-DVDŽ
Flex VCDŽ Thin DVD-5 Disc (4.7GB) & HD-DVD (15 GB) and 3"
Mini (80MM) VCD (1.1GB) and Mini Flex HD-DVD (3.7 GB) is the
latest technology in the DVD manufacturing sector. The single
layer format has the same capacity of a DVD-5 & HD-DVD 15
GB, but it is only half the thickness of a standard DVD. This
new disc format is literally "flexible". Designed, engineered,
and tested by CD Digital Card engineers on site, this new
format is ideal for any disc based direct mail application
due to its resilience to breakage, shattering, and cracking.

Cards providing replication services for a diverse customer

Mastering
Mastering is a process that transfers the customer's data
into a stamper, which is ready for CD-ROM and or DVD and or HD-DVD replication.
The master from the customer that contains the digital information
in the form of a DLT, CD-R / CD, DVD-R / DVD and USB hard drive/HD-DVD is verified,
formatted and loaded by the Quality Control Department. Then
using a Laser Beam Recording machine, (LBR), the Mastering
Department transfers the digital information onto the glass
master that has been coated with photo resist. After being
developed and activated, the glass is transferred to an electro-forming
bath to grow the stamper. The finished stamper is sent to
the Injection Department to replicate in the injection molding
machine. |
