Silk-Screen:
For the best results, please use PMS
colors (Pantone) and specify the color number = PMS. The number
of colors should always be designated! (White
flood is considered 1 color.) The maximum
number of colors that can be printed is 5
colors. All artwork must be either PMS or all CMYK. Line
widths must be 1pt minimum for process CMYK, 0.5 pt Minimum for
PMS.
Silk-Screen printing is the process
of transferring ink through a fine mesh screen onto a CD or DVD.
CDs are printed in a similar fashion, but the equipment is more
automated and the process is faster. This process utilizes a 133
to 150 line screen (the number of lines or dots per inch
on a halftone screen), providing excellent quality for CMYK four-color
process and PMS colors.
Offset Printing: We
also offer the latest in Offset printing for a better four-color
process. Offset printing onto CDs, DVDs, CDRs and DVDRs is similar
to Offset printing of a high quality magazine: it's the process
of using an intermediate blanket cylinder to transfer an image
from the image carrier to the CD/DVD. This process utilizes
175 to 200 line screen.
You wouldn't want to go back
to the picture quality your computer had a few years ago, would
you? Then why have your CD or DVD, your product, not look it's
absolute best? Our Process for Offset printing allows us to produce
and print much more realistic and dramatic images on your CD/DVD
than ever before.
Compression: Do not compress
files, Please indicate total playing time, and total MB of your
CD, or DVD. Include a color proof
of your artwork and specify the number of colors to be used on
the CD. |
